Czech Prime Minister Petr Necas on Sunday declared a state of emergency in seven regions, where flooding has killed at least two people.
Necas said the government would release 300 million Czech crowns (about 15 million U.S. dollars) for relief efforts and more troops would be deployed in flooded regions, where 300 soldiers are doing rescue and clean-up work.
The third and highest flood degree has been reported in some 50 sites along Czech rivers. Two people have lost their lives and four others are reported missing.
